Wondering What Anamnesis Is??!!

Anamnesis is a CD which consists of a class address book and a huge collection of photos which we had taken during our tours and other functions in the college. There are over 1,000 pictures in the CD. The pictures cover our S3, S7 (pep '00) ,S8 (kodai) tours, farewell days and also some cool snaps of our great college.

The address book is a wonderful piece of animation programmed in VB.The animations and music used are out of the top draw. It has been acclaimed by all and sundry especially our batchmates. So much so that a couple of guys from other branches too have brought the CD. Towards its end it gets really senti and one cant help but feel nostalgic.

Anamnesis is the brainchild of Manzour and Faisal. Shalim too chipped in and provided full support. Thanks to Sanjesh for scanning pictures tirelessly all night. Joe who did many to-fro trips between hostel and cybernest providing with all the hardware support. The galaxy guys,Shias for the address book and Huzefa for burning all those creativity cells. Special thanks to Aroob of S7 mech for providing the scanner and Najeeb,our ECE batchmate for helping with the address book. Apart from these guys, there are many who have helped with the scanning and other related stuff. A BIG thank you to all of you and you can be proud because judging from the response received from all quarters, anamnesis is a huge success!!!

Well, for those of you who are wondering who is the Oxford return who coined the word anamnesis....all the thanks goes to Microsoft word which has thesaurus feature in the tools menu. Select it and type "memory" and check what you get. Now the guy who came up with this clever idea is Shias. Now we know why Shias has such a good english!!!
